I have installed the gmap module without any problems but when I go to insert a new map there are no fields to insert a point/pin on the map. Can this be done in gmap for 4.6 or does it need version 7? Or is the filter not installed properly?

Yes anyone know about this one? I want to add my user locations to the map but can't find any forms to add the data.

Found out to insert a point just click on the map. See http://www.webgeer.com/gmapdemo.

But is there anyway to enter information for the pin automatically, without editing the code after creating it?

First with regards to adding a marker in the 4.6 version. I assume you are talking about adding a marker for the macro in the 4.6 version.

It has been a while since I have done any work on/with the 4.6 version. However this site still uses the 4.6 version: http://vancouver.cyclehome.org/gmapmacro and if you click on the map a point is added for the macro. After you insert the macro into your node, you can edit to add more points if you know the lat/long.

If you mean to have a point for a user and then have a map/users like on http://www.webgeer.com/map/users, then this wasn't added until the 4.7 version.

Where a user enters their location is on the user edit tab under the location map. (Directly at /user/#/edit/gmap_user where # is the uid.
