I have described the method
I have described the method to insert a `embed WMV video' using flexinode
Insert the code into `default value' of `add textarea'

Since nobody seems to check
Since nobody seems to check the issue nodes..:
Can somebody please check http://drupal.org/node/11193 and tell me how I can add the code to display the videofield in a custom flexinode template?
The flexinode custom video is
The flexinode custom video is for WMV, wmv, or avi - using Windows Media Player
Actually the code is universal, not just for Drupal video.module but can be used anywhere, on a HTML page.
I created it so that my users dont have to deal with the code, or the separate text and video.
Actually you can just copy the resulting source code of Drupal video display into your TEASER (Excerpt) and BODY of the video node. The download link is available, but the display count would not since you are displaying it directly, without user having to `click' on `PLAY'.
For flexinode, put the code into the default value of `add textarea'.
Instruct the user to replace the URL of the video into actual path to the video.
****Video.module for Drupal 472 has many more features, since I had installed the latest. It might answer your question.
Did you actually read this
Did you actually read this node: http://drupal.org/node/11193 ?
I don't want my editors to even smell html code because they don't know anything about it and I don't want the technique to be in their way. That's why I use the script to use the video module with flexinode.. this works perfect but to call the object from the template, I need some special code which I don't know.
At the moment I use the following code (as written in the drupal documentation) to read the object:
<?php print serialize($node->flexinode_10)?>
That outputs this array:
O:8:"stdClass":5:{s:8:"filename";s:8:"test.wmv";s:8:"filepath";s:16:"files/test.wmv";s:8:"filemime";s:14:"video/x-ms-wmv";s:8:"filesize";i:2254178;s:6:"source";s:12:"flexinode_10";}
I would like to know what function of the script I have to call to output the html video code..
No I dont, and I (and most
No I dont, and I (and most of the helpers here) dont appreciate being condescendingly replied
No I dont read your request
Not sure what the best way
Not sure what the best way to do it. I would call:
from node-flexinode-?.tpl.php where ? is the number of the felxinode.

can't really figger out what
can't really figger out what to put between the brackets.. what should the field, node and brief be? Can't believe nobody before has tried to style a video-node..
hey Impahz
hey Impahz, did you ever get this one figured out? I'm still struggling to get the field_video.inc working for Flexinode 4.7, but when I do, will be in your boat too. (Your contact form prohibits email but I'd be super grateful for a version of the field_video.inc file you have that works, if you're still working on this. If I could get it to function properly I'd be happy to troubleshoot the video node theming business.) Thanks zillions -
