I'm not sure this is a shareThis issue or a Service link..
Under /admin/settings/service_links/sharethis there is a textfield where I can insert the code of the shareThis button taken on shareThis.com
The system does not process the query over 128 character.. My button code is like this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://w.sharethis.com/button/sharethis.js#publisher=bd59d3h502e3-468a-aae9-333537d6bd&type=website&buttonText=Share&headerTitle=blablabla%20share"></script>
It's about 220 character.. I'm not sure but there should be a truncation on mysql table over 128Char
I am right? Could you fix this bug?

gone404 CreditAttribution: gone404 commentedLooks like you may be on to something. The only problem is that I don't see any code added to that table when I put custom shareThis generated button code into the textarea. I tried changing it to "LONGTEXT", but again, nothing actually gets added to that table.

adx CreditAttribution: adx commentedI'm having this same issue, no resolution yet? I'm not sure if it's anything to do with the database, but I know that when I put custom code in, the icons don't display. It seems to always have a 'ShareThis' link linking to the same page it's on, which is odd too.

I'm having the same issue as described by adx.

Kutakizukari CreditAttribution: Kutakizukari commentedHaving the same problem the text link shows up "Share this" and when clicked the page just reloads. Without the custom code it works with an icon showing up that did not show up before.

adx CreditAttribution: adx commentedEdit: Just realised I actually switched to 'Addthis' also.
Guys by the way, the workaround I used was to install the 'beta' version (which Drupal tells me is now not suppored) and instead use the 'toolbox' mode. What this allows is for me to use codes like 'facebook' or 'tweet_meme' and it will display widgets accordingly. This worked, the default method did not.
However I'm not sure if the current release supports Toolbox mode or not?

apadernoI am closing this issue, since Drupal 6 isn't supported.
