Right now the only option if mollom goes down is "Leave all forms unprotected and accept all submissions". Mollom went down today and 30 spam comments went through.
I would prefer a middle ground - leave forms unprotected but only accept from registered users. Because there are registered people who are using our site and depend on it, but blocking anonymous commenters is fine if mollom goes down like it did today.
