Hello,

I have searched forums & issues and cannot find a solution for this. I hope you can help.

The issue is, when I install a new module everything is fine. But then when I go to change the user permissions to allow them to make changes with the new module, I lose all the content I created. Blocks in the main content and the sidebar. I get 'n/a' coming up where the content should be. The menu buttons I created stay there, but the content itself does not.

It seems like a bug?

My setup is:
Drupal 6.1
Access to update.php Protected
Configuration file Protected
Cron maintenance tasks Last run 5 hours 42 min ago
You can run cron manually.
Database updates Up to date
File system Writable (public download method)
GD library bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
MySQL database 5.0.45
PHP 5.1.6
PHP memory limit 32M
PHP register globals Disabled
Unicode library PHP Mbstring Extension
Update notifications Not enabled
Update notifications are not enabled. It is highly recommended that you enable the update status module from the module administration page in order to stay up-to-date on new releases. For more information please read the Update status handbook page.
Web server Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat)
Zlib library Enabled

Can anyone give advice or point to a solution for me?

Kindest thanks,
Carrie

in further news, this only happens when I change multiple permissions at once i.e. tick more than 1 box and save configuration.
When I do 1 at a time and save everything is fine.
So at least I have a work around even though its a bit time consuming/frustrating.
