Hi,

I've just installed Drupal and I want to edit the primary links on the top of the site but I don't know how it works. Actually, I don't really understand how drupal works.

Can anyone help me ?

Thanks in advance.

Check this out for the navigation issue

You might want to read through the handbook,. It is very thorough.

Hope this helps.

HI F..

I'm new to Drupal too, but, I found it very easy to setup the primary & secondary links. I went to ADMINISTER -> THEMES in 4.6.6

Are you using 4.6 or 4.7?

Hi,
I'm using 4.7 beta.
I looked in Administration > Themes but I didn't find it.
Should I rather use 4.6 instead of 4.7 beta ?

Thanks

if you want to build a site to go live I think it's better to use 4.6.6 for the moment unless you are testing and helping with patches for 4.7. I installed 4.7 beta but I don't have enough programming skills or knowledge of drupal to help with debugging and testing it.

However, setting up the primary links is even simpler with 4.7 if you go to ADMINISTER -> MENUS and click on ADD MENU ITEM. Underneath the text boxes for your new link, there is a PARENT TERM dropdown. select PRIMARY LINKS so your new menu option falls under that category.

The general vibe that 4.7 beta is still in the testing phase is echoed when you browse through the forum.

Thank you.

I'm evaluating Drupal cuz I need to realise a site soon. I choosed 4.7 because I thought it will be soon released :-)

I'm going to try what you said.
Thanks for your help.
