Hi,
When my authenticated users post a new forum topic, the comment options are automatically being locked (no one can comment on it). Where can i change it so that all comments are read/write automatically for new threads created by authenticated users?
Thanks!

administer comments
For all comments ....
administer >> comments >> configure >> settings
Also, check ...
administer >> access control ... scroll down until you find the permissions for the comment module and make sure post comments is enabled.
Also, check ...
administer >> content >> content types >> forum topic ... scroll down to the "Default comment settings"

Thanks. I tried all those,
Thanks. I tried all those, no luck.
I believe the last one should have been:
administer >> settings >> content >> content types >> forum topic
I found the Default Comment Settings there.. however all appears as it should, options are set to Read/Write everywhere. Still, Authenticated Users are getting the lock by default..
Bump
Can anyone help? This is really putting a drag on the new community, I've got to manually enable read/write on comments. Yuck!
