My search skills are really sucking today so I'm down to asking dumb questions again.
Is there a node-forum-topic.tpl.php or something to that effect? Do I have to go through template.php? I do know how to theme nodes, just not sure what this one is called :)
thanks!

Awesome, thanks :)
I'm currently trying out that flatforum thing on one of my experimental sites (wonderful setup here with 4.6.5 going to run a big community that really needs to be stable, and the much nicer looking 4.7.0beta potentially going to run a much smaller community that I can afford to have some fun with ;), having template.php in the themes folder kinda makes everything disappear o_O Sucks really, those post count rank and join dates are actually something I really want on both sites.
And I would like to SEARCH for possible answers but my browser seems to have made drupal's search box vanish.

Search box will return
The search box will return when the site re-index is complete (see the notice on the front page). In the mean time; try google with site:drupal.org [keywords]
