Question about User Roles and Ubercart

Hi all,

I am new to Ubercart and am in the process of figuring out how to use this module.

I want my site to allow users who pay a small fee for certain role so that they can post a group of content types freely. At the same time, I also want to allow users who prefer to pay the fee only when they want to post something: one time fee of certain content types. To make this clearer:

1. users who purchase certain roles can post as many content as they wish.
2. users who are not willing to pay monthly/yearly fee for roles can pay one time fee to post certain content.

I know #1 is possible with ubercart. I also remember that #2 can be done using ubercart...however, I wonder if all two can happen using ubercart....dealing with users with different user roles and payment methods all at the same time...

Is there someone who has done this before? I will move on to do more research if this is possible.
