I have Drupal 4.6.6 on a Testserver where PHP Safe Mode is OFF and everything works fine. Now it should be moved to a Server which has PHP Safe Mode ON. Are there any concerns with Safe Mode ON and Drupal 4.6.6?

Drupal tries to turn safe mode on anyway, so I doubt you'll have any problems with this.

Thank you for your answer. First I tried locally with Safe Mode ON and everything worked. After moving to the Server I expected problems.
Importing language files for example didn't work anymore. Commenting out lines 159-161 (http://drupal.org/node/39918) fixed it.
