I am using both UR (user realtionships module) and OG. And if I could invite my "friends" to a "group", it would be fantastic. If you know Facebook, you know what I mean: When you are in a group you can choose to invite some of your friends from a list by checking them.

In OG, currently you can invite users to a group by entering each name (or e-mail address) separated with a comma to a text field. So I am thinking of a scenario like this:

1. You click invite friends link on a group page.
2. The list of all your friends come with a checkbox for each of them.
(There would also be the usual textfield to invite non-friend users)
3. You check the desired friends and click on an "invite" button.
4. Invitation is sent as usual.

It would be very nice feature for any kind of social site.

Have you tried to accomplish this with Views Bulk Operations module ?

I would also really like this feature. There are other modules such as taguser which provide a textfield (not textarea) and does an auto complete as you start typing the username, you then add a comma to add more names. Just a thought.
