Hi
I am not sure how it works in D5, but I am missing an option where author of a node with a pollfield choose how many allowed values he wants for that poll. Currently, If I understand it, I have to set number of allowd values while I am creating a cck pollfield for content type.
thanks
Igor

(but I am not sure if I really understand it, I notice that with multifield, user can add new fields/values online while he/she is creating a node.)

As I understand it you need the feature that exists in Poll module, where you get two blank choices, and if you need more there is a button for it so you can add as many as you like.

yes, what you wriote is exactly what I am looking for.
To have by default e.g. 3 answers, and some kind of button "Add new option/answer"

igorik CreditAttribution: igorik commentedhi, some news about this "add new option button" ?

mario_prkos CreditAttribution: mario_prkos commentedI worked on that options but I encountered some difficulties. Problem is when there is multiple instance on pollfield on the same node. I try to use built in drupal ahah engine to update forms but I couldn't find way to separately deal each instance of multiple
field. Also it has to be that work fine without javascript. I am on it but it is not easy. Any ideas are welcome.
Also, alpha of D7 is released so I have to go with porting this module to D7. Now I am thinking what to do first.

Flying Drupalist CreditAttribution: Flying Drupalist commentedPlease do this first. Most people are not going to be on D7 for a while...

igorik CreditAttribution: igorik commentedI agree. I will go to D7 at the end of this year, and bigger sites will take more time for the moving to D7. Let's focus for fixing it in D6.
Thanks
