Here is a patch that will inform you when the autosave feature did not work.
It's pretty basic, and can probably be improved on, my forays into changing the css didn't work the way I wanted, so it looks a bit hacked.

voidref CreditAttribution: voidref commentedWe had a flakey connection (wifi + vpn), and it would fail to connect to the server because of this.
Not knowing, a submit was made, with the natural 'no connection' error happening, and when going back in the browser, it would fill the content area with another 'no connection' error, losing the edit all together.
