I have tested this on a site (in conjunction with XML sitemap), and when i enter a verification META tag for Live search, it is displayed in the head (and messes with layout) on the front page. It is not enclosed in any meta (html) tags. The site uses a zen sub-theme.
Anyone able to point out why it may be doing this?
thx

Dave ReidYou entered the full meta tag correct? Which version of XML sitemap are you using?

avolve CreditAttribution: avolve commentedNow using XML Sitemap 6.x-1.0-rc1 which seems to have resolved the issue (I had noted this on a couple test installs).
Thanks for following up.

gooddesignusa CreditAttribution: gooddesignusa commentedI'm having the same issue atm. I'm running 6.x-2.0-beta3 of XML sitemap & 6.x-1.x-dev of Site verification. Even after shutting off xmlsite map it still prints the meta tag inside the head without wrapping it inside a meta tag.
-edit: all fixed, just need to paste the whole thing into the input field. not just the value of the meta tag.

Dave ReidYou have to enter the entire meta tag in site_verify.
