Is there a way to make storys or blog posts appear in their entirety on the front page without needing to click on the "read more" link below the post? I can't find a place where this is controlled, but I could be just overlooking it. I hope my question is clear :)
Thanks in advance,

It's here
admin/node/configure
change "length of trimmed posts" to Unlimited.
As the help says, this only applies to new stories, not old ones.
What version do you have?
That can't be version 4.6 that you are looking at is it? I'm not seeing a Node entry in the Administration menu at all. Maybe this is a feature that has been implemented in 4.7? I'll go see if I can determine that.
Thanks for the reply though :)

URL
The URL is admin/node/configure; via the menu administer » content, tab configure. URLs don't change with language, so are more reliable.

Anyway, glad you got it sorted, I will remember to be a little clearer next time.
You could use <!--break-->
If you don't want to display the whole story for every story, what you can do is put the
<!--break-->
tag at the very bottom of the story. I did this for my welcome message (which is also stickied), but all other promoted nodes are still truncated.Adam B. Plourde
