The drupal.org search is crap or I dont know how to use it...
I think my following question is already answered somewhere else, but I cant find it!

In most forums, if you open a thread, the last page is automatically opened but in drupal you always get the first page which is really enerving because then you have to scroll down and click to come to the last page.

How do I make the forum to open the last page first?

thanks

okay, after I asked the same question in a german forum, I want to correct my last post:

I dont have the default forum, where the last posts are shown first. I tried to adjust the forum so it looks like other forums like phpbb, so the latest comments are displayed at the end.

Now, my problem still exists and I dont know how to show the last page first.

I'm curious about this, too. I also hate when I go "back" in my browser and instead of being at the bottom of a page where I clicked the link, I'm brought back to the top.

I'm interested in this as well.

This is one of the things I consider basic so don't tell me it's not possible without making my own module or something! ;)

Thank you!

I'd like to know how to do this too. I think all the information is there already: each comment has an ID. So if a comment with ID 91498 is on the second page of the node (with ID 48404), then we need to place the URL http://drupal.org/node/48404&page=1#comment-91498 at the end of the topic in the forum page (as done in phpBB, VB, or virtually any other forum software, except perhaps Drupal).
