nodes are not shown on the GMap when I do not fill latitude and altitude

After I enable GMap and Location Modules, If I do not fill latitude and altitude, the nodes show neither on the node locations nor on the block location map. I just want to input an address and then the node displays on the node locations and the block location map, any ideas?
