Hey folks,
I just started using WAMP Server, a fantastic OSS compilation of Apache 2.0.55, MySQL 5.0.18, and PHP 5.1.2, with phpMyAdmin, SQLLite, and a great central taskbar app to control and configure everything. It's free and easy to install on a Windows box.
The problem is, I am getting immediate SQL errors when changing the password on User 1 (see the first post on the Beta 4 announcement). This kind of error would not have been released in a Beta release, since you guys seem to catch everything. So this makes me think: what platform are you testing on, and what versions of the various components would you recommend for a Windows server?
Assume I have Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server, and nothing else installed. What versions of Apache, MySQL, and PHP would work the best with 4.7, stability and/or performance-wise?
Thanks!

Update...
Thanks for all your input! I guess I'll keep using WAMP Server - it seems to be a good combination of versions, coupled with a centralized admin taskbar app.
I did manage to get the latest CVS version of Beta4 working - it appears my password change issue was in fact a real bug, which was fixed a few days later. PHP5 users would have noticed it, but PHP4 users apparently did not.
For the time being, I will assume that Apache 2.0.55, MySQL 5.0.x, and PHP 5.1.x are a good stable combo - I've been wanting to try the Win32 optimized Apache 2.2.0 from http://www.apachelounge.com (apparently much faster), but I don't yet know if I'll try it on a production server.
Keep up the good work, folks!
