Just a few final things for the upcoming conference in Vancouver:

  1. Please login to http://www.oscms-summit.org . The second block down on the right, 'Current Signups', lists all the sessions for which you are currently signed up. If you see a link showing conflicts at the bottom of the block, please click on it and have a look at your schedule conflicts--looks like you'll have to pick one over the other... :) You can cancel a session signup by visiting the session description and clicking the 'Cancel Signup' button.
  2. Be sure to check out all the conference t-shirts available at http://www.goodstorm.com/stores/drupal -- three more designs have been added since the site first went live. You have to order by February 1st if you'd like your shirt to be waiting for you in Vancouver!

See you all in less than two weeks!

I had this sudden inspiration to attend, and looked at the conference. For those who haven't, it looks great! I'd guess there are 200+ people signed up now, and about 120 Drupal folks. So there is a long list of Drupal sessions. Most of the names I recognize from this size will be there. Dries is coming from Belgium, chx is coming from Hungary. Kieran is coming from San Fran. Robert Douglas is coming from Germany. webchick and Matt Westgate are two of the organizers. Bryght and Boris Mann will be there. Definitely check it out if you haven'.t If you are thinking of hiring a developer (like we are) this is a great place to see them or watch them in action. (I think there's going to be a bugfix session.)

if you go here you can print out all sessions with all attendees for the session
http://www.oscms-summit.org/book/print/11

not surprisingly, most popular session is Dries' roadmap.
2nd place: drinking workshop (non drinkers welcome)

hmm turns out it doesn't print attendees for all sessions, just one out of 3 sessions in each time slot.

I went through and manually added the rest of the sessions to the book outline.

Let me tell you, I have one or two ideas about event improvements for conferences now. Chad did a ton of work on signup that was very useful, but manually updating the schedule page was the most annoying part.

Boris,
thank you! I'm sure it was a ton of tedious work. thank you. I'll help you publicize it after the weekend.

Dear Organizers, seeing that it was allowed to sign up for more than 1 session during 1 time slot, I have multiple drupal sessions I'm interested in Tues. at 8:30am, Tues 3:45pm, Thursday at 8:30am, and Tuesday at 2:30pm. there are no drupal sessions on Thurs at 1:15pm, and 2:30pm. is it possible to move some of those sessions to Thursday afternoon? thank you ae2005

A couple of requests:
1) is it possible to provide a spreadsheet list that we can print out of attendees off of drupal.org with people's usernames in one column (sorted alphabetically) and real names in a second column. I know people primarily by their usernames.

2) is it possible to provide a list of developers attending, again by username and real name in alphabetical order? a bunch of us have been struggling to make paypal framework and paypal subscription work. we are talking about putting together a pool to pay a developer to upgrade and maintain those 2 modules, and have it not conflict with the ecommerce. (ecomm cannot replace paypal subscription because it cannot do recurring, automatic debits, or do more than 1 role.) (node 44295)

3) if there are others who are interested, is there a way to provide a time to meet the developers? not during a session I think because we don't want to miss a session. maybe there is a day when we can all go out to lunch together. http://drupal.org/node/47263

thank you, ae
