Hey guys.

I'm having some trouble with my site. I'm newb and I don't know much about drupal (yet). I have installed the following modules: wysiwyg, IMCE, Token, PathAuto, ImageAPI, Upload, Update status, Taxonomy, Search, PHP Filter, Menu, Path, Database Logging, Contact, Administration Menu.
The problem is that can't write anything in the body area (textarea). I've seen some issues here but there are quite a few of them and so far I haven't found anything useful. Besides, when I try to disable rich-text from the link under the body, it says error on page in IE; on firefox, no result and no message.

Any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you very much

Most likely, one of the other installed modules conflicts with Wysiwyg API.

What other information about my installation would you need so that you can pinpoint the problem accurately?
I kinda am in a bit of a hurry (deadlines, etc). Not that I'm putting any pressure on anyone and I want you to know that I'm appreciative about any help.

Thank you very much

Please test again with the latest official release. Additionally, you might want to use 2.x instead.

I have the same problem. I have installed : wysiwyg, Tinymce-3.2.4.1 in drupal-5.16. The content in the text area in not getting saved when i click on the submit button and the previously entered content is also lost.

Thanks.

If Wysiwyg API does not work as expected, please

1) Update to the latest development snapshot.
2) Remove all wysiwyg profiles except one.
3) Remove all buttons/plugins from your wysiwyg profile except bold + italic buttons.
4) Test whether the editor appears.
5) If not, temporarily disable (all) other contrib modules.
6) Test again.
7) If the editor appears, re-enable other contrib modules step-by-step to see who's guilty.
