Hi there,

We are in the process of building a website for streaming a radio show as well as providing on-demand. We currently have Streamcast running for the radio and are looking at solutions to deploy 'clips' of the audio that will allow rating of the content only after the clip has been played.
I have several questions:

1. Is there a good solution for creating clips of content from a full track that is uploaded by said user?
2. Is there a way to build a script to have the radio station that is streaming stop when you are listening to an on-demand clips and then the radio station to resume once the clip has stopped?
3. What is the best way to play an mp3 on-demand that is most seamless for the user? I seem to recall some drupal proof of concepts on that.
