Currently when looking at the monthly calendar, multi day events are displayed with start+end datetimes on each day. This looks ugly and repetitive. I'd prefer if the starting day had the start time and the dash, each middle day had only a dash and the ending day had a dash and the ending time.

Edit the calendar view eg /admin/build/views/edit/calendar
Click on your datetime field in the "fields" box.
Here you can change the format (long, medium, short, time), whether to display from and to dates, and also rewrite the output comletely with tokens.
