I wish to add a single vocabulary to the nav menu, and have all of the terms in that vocabulary to be listed on a page and when you click any of the terms it will display a list of static pages corresponding with that term? Any idea how to do this? Seems like it would be helpful.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong? Please suggest a better way.
I have a "Downloads" vocabulary and several "Terms" that correspond with files I want to let people download. I want to put "Downloads" in the nav menu and have all of the terms in that vocab auto-listed and let users click the terms to be taken to a page that describes the Download.
Menus
Take a look at the Navigation Table module
If you look at it's settings, there is an option to have 'contextual' menus, which I think is what you want. If Navigation Table doesn't suit you, take a look at the other menu modules, there are now quite a few!
