I have downloaded the voting modue & nodevote.module..& i have enabled that in the administer-->settings.when i select the rating i get a message ..error..just above the stars.On seeing the log file of the apache its telling that the voting file isnt there..can someone help me out with this problem....

You need to enable mod_rewrite in your web server config (e.g. using LoadModule & AddModule in httpd.conf), and Clean URLs in Drupal parameters.

Besides I had to add a line like RewriteBase /Drupal in .htaccess in the Drupal directory

It fixed the problem for me.
Let's hope a new version is released without this requirement soon.
