Hello - I tried RSVP module - but it's a heavyweight solution similar to evite.com - which is nice, but not what I was looking for. Then I saw signup, the clouds parted, and the sun shined brightly...alas, it was still lacking once I got it installed; it's perfect except for one small piece. I'd like to allow anonymous users the ability to create a signup, without creating a user account.

I run several "corporate-type" websites, where no users exist besides the site admins. We want to display info to the general population, but they don't need an account.

I'd like it if there was an option to "allow anonymous signups" or similar feature extended to the signup.module. Instead of forcing the anonymous user to login/register for an account to then create a signup, they simply provide the singup info in the form fields and submit it.

I believe this is a relatively minor hack, but not certain at this time.

Thanks Chad. I didn't see this feature request when I went to http://drupal.org/project/issues/signup - forgot to change status of patches to "all" to see them.
