Sorry, from the readme I wasn't sure at all where to put the CSS folder - is it empty? does it go in the fpss folder or with our theme? Sorry if my question is so basic.

You put into your theme folder. If you are using a contributed theme that would be: sites/all/themes/yourthemename/css

Put it in your SITE ROOT

This was confusing since the lack of instructions in the readme file. To keep everything together in the fpss folder, I created a folder named "css" in the following path: sites/all/modules/fpss/fpss/css

Enter "sites/all/modules/fpss/fpss/css" into the css path field and all should go well.

Title: where do we put the css folder? » Which answer is the right one for "where do we put the css folder?"

hello ddave, Burhank, naptown
Which is the correct thing to do?
1)Put the css in the themes folder?
2)Put it in your SITE ROOT- I'm new please write it out in full
3) Enter "sites/all/modules/fpss/fpss/css" into the css path field and all should go well.
Where is the css path??? How do I enter it???

Try to create a folder called "css" in your root drupal folder.

The root folder is where you can find the Themes - Includes - Sites.... etc folders.

I didnt try the other guy's suggestions but I guess it might work too but for me creating a css folder in the root works just fine.

I downloaded this module FPSS yesterday. There are multiple readme files. Some say to put the fpss folder in the root of your site, others say to put its contents into /modules/fpss/fpss.

Where is the correct place for the fpss folder? What are the Drupal specific setup directions when using the module?

There are no instructions on how to put this into a block - I'm trying to do this on localhost, but I can't seem to get what the absolute path is.

There are no instructions for the configuration file that I can find, and absolutely nothing on where to put the css file - just a blurb stating that it has to be manually created - but not where. (Now that I have found this post, I'll try the suggestions) I don't quite understand what goes into the css file though - what is it for?

Also, I bought this with the assumption that my user would be able to manipulate the images in the slideshow. I do not see any instructions on how to do this - I figured the Drupal module would handle image uploads. How do you upload images to this? Do they have to be a particular size - maybe based on the dimensions of your slideshow?

I have been using Drupal since version 3 and am pretty good a configuring it. The documentation for this could be better - if I can figure out a step by step procedure, I'll be happy to provide documentation. Meanwhile - can anyone point me in the right direction?

Awesome! Look at the image previously posted... answers this question. Pretty lame that the differences between path root isn't noted right there. That would same a lot of headache and time.

I'm having an issue with image upload as well...
I've used FPSS in D5 with no issues. I don't see a slide upload field (Image Field?). Is it possible that there is no way to actually upload the slide image? Did I install things in the wrong order causing this filed to not be included in the FPSS install?

Yeah, gotta admit that the readme is pretty crummy. Even something as basic as where to put the file isnt there. C'mon guys... great mods are being ceated... but with readme/instruction files that look like they were put together by a 1st grader!

As a side note; I messed around with the css folder. I found out that it makes absolutely no difference where you put it, as long as you enter the correct path. I put it in base, in theme, in mods, in sites/all/mods/fpss, sites/all/mods/fpss/fpss, etc. You can out it anywhere as long as the path is corrent and is relative to the base.
