I installed poormanscron 4.2.0 as a module for drupal 4.3.0,
to see if it would choke. There are no error messages,
but how do I know if it is working?

import some newsfeed
Import some newsfeeds and see if they get updated. Cron.php should do this. Poormanscron should call cron.php
Other tip: http://www.webcron.org

webcron and username password doesnt work
If you are running the latest import module from CVS you will not be able to use www.webcron.org as the username and password needed to get the cron to run will not work. No one has been able to figure it out it will send the job but does not accept the login paramaters.
