Is it possible to have thumbnails that a user can scroll through like a carousel? Along those lines, does ddblock load all the images at the same time and hide them or does it load them as they are selected? The relevance being that if I add more items to the ddblock I don't want the user to spend longer loading the site. Thanks for the support.

Traveled this week from the Netherlands to the Philippines. Was a busy time for me.

The dynamic display block module loads all the images at the same time.
The functionality of the module was to show latest news, top stories etc.

If you want to use the module to show more slides, loading slides when they are needed becomes more critical.

See also the issue Ajax loading of slides.

Scrolling the pager could also be an option when Ajax loading of the slides is implemented.

Tried the scrollable plugin to create scrollable pager-items and it works. Will release this in next version of the module. For an example see: http://themes.myalbums.biz/content/vsd-upright60-scrollable-pager
