Hello,
I'm about to install and test Drupal for my group's intranet. I would like to know how do I create a site structure and if it's possible to view it as a tree structure in the administration console.
Also, how do I create a left-hand navigation menu ?
Thanks for your help !
Regards
Marianne

Drupal is up and running...
... but I still haven't figured out how does it work to place the main navigation topics in the top navigation bar like here at drupal.org where I see Home | Documentation | Forums ... etc.
xtemplate
drupal.org uses the xtemplate theme (part of the core distro) which allows you to define these links (in Home » administer » configuration » themes » Xtemplate). (Some) other themes don't have this.
by hand ?
Thanks, I've seen that. I can define a primary and secondary navigation...
But my question is, does that have to be done by hand ? I mean, I have to insert the links to the specific nodes "hard-coded" ?
There's no way for those to appear automatically when creating a root node?
Thanks,
Marianne
