I am using wysiwyg together with img assist (v. 6.x-2.0-alpha2) and tinymce (v. 3.2.1.1). For the img_assist button to show up in tinymce, I have to active the button for all(!) input formats in wysiwyg's settings. So, it's not possible to deactivate img assist only for a certain input format; I can only choose to activate it for all formats or to deactivate it for all formats.
Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

saml CreditAttribution: saml commentedI'm having exactly this problem.
If I'm using TinyMCE for two input formats, I have to enable image assist on both of them, in order to show the image assist button (blue camera icon).
If I use TinyMCE for only one input format, it's no problem.
I'm using Drupal 6, Wysiwyg 6.x-1.1, (TinyMce 3.2.2.3, it seems from changelog.txt) and Image Assist 6.X-2.0-alpha3
