Currently, Translation table works only for "Localize terms" vocabularies.
It would be great if it could also work for "Per language terms" vocabularies too.
This restriction is not mentionned on the download page - No documentation nor help available for this module.
Can we dream about it, or do you know another module that could help?
Thanks

PasqualleIs it possible to pair "Per language terms"? As I see you can create different terms per language in the same vocabulary, so I don't know how this would be displayed in the translation table, and what would be the purpose of translation of these taxonomy terms. As I understand they should not be displayed with a different language..

jvieille CreditAttribution: jvieille commentedPer Language terms can be paired in the translation tab which is avalable to them in then selecting "List Terms" in the Taxonomy admin menu page.
The terms are defined independendly and then they can be associated in a same row for all languages.
The purpose is to actually use the i18n capability of showing the correct term in CCK fields depending which language is selected.
For example, I defined a "Job positions" vocabulaty that list them in all available languages.
This vocabulary is used to select the these "Job positions" in a form and display them accordingly.
By comparizon, vocabularies that are set to "Localize term" simply show the correct term in core taxonomy dedicated zone on pages
In short:
- "Localize terms" works for displaying a tag in the correct language on page
- "Per language terms" works when the terms are used in a CCK field
This totally confusing, I really don't understand why there are 2 ways of handling multi-language features, which have to be properly selected depending on what the terms are used for
