I've got a modified version of xtemplate for Drupal 4.2 which is,

  • 2-column, fixed width
  • places the primary links in a css-generated rollover menu (requres that the user input the links as a list)
  • places the secondary links at the top of the left sidebar column

Here are two screenshots. The first is with the default xtemplate color scheme. The second is from a project I am currently working on. If anyone's interested, let me know (cel4145 at fsu dot edu). Bandwidth issues with my host prevent me from just making the tarball available.

I should also mention that I have not tested this with browsers other than Mozilla 1.5, Firebird 0.7, and IE 6x.
