I assume you have to purchase the mysite.mobi domain name...but then do you:
1) have to have a separate hosting account for it?
2) or is there a way to set up domain aliases in your existing domain's account?

choster CreditAttribution: choster commentedYou would not need a separate hosting account. The domain should point to the same directory as your regular Drupal installation. How this is configured will be specific to your host, however, so you should contact them for support.
