I would like to add better integration with the Views and CCK modules.

For instances,

  • slideshow content types should expose filters and and arguments to Views
  • slides should also expose filters and fields to Views. This would of course be handled through the CCK framework, or if the user wishes to not use CCK integration, in the least, present Views with its fields for XML output.
  • output slideshow slides collection as XML and feed it into the FPSS (not sure if it takes in XML or not. investigation required)

As this is for Drupal 6 I'm not sure if this will help but I've already got it working with Views and CCK with the help of this little patch that makes the slideshow a Views Style...awesome
