First of all, this module is great, just what I needed Thanks.
I am just wondering can the conditional field be reset back to default value (like blank) when this field is conditioned not to be shown?
Not sure if I am making it clear? Let me know if you need further explanation.
Thanks a lot

The better explanation would be that the conditioned field is just like hidden in the edit form when it's conditioned not to be shown, not really inactive...
If once you have a value set in the conditioned field, and edit the post to have it not shown, it will only be hidden, and it will still be shown in the post. Should that field not to be shown at all?

If I understand: you are seeing controlled fields on node view that should be hidden because not activated on node edit?

yrre7 CreditAttribution: yrre7 commentedyes..that's right

yrre7 CreditAttribution: yrre7 commentedsorry, I am actually using 5.x-1.x-dev....not 5.x-2.x-dev

I have several required fields (text select-lists) which only appear when their controlling field (a single on-off checkbox) is checked. However, even if that checkbox is not checked, the default values of these controlled fields still show up on the node view.

yrre7 CreditAttribution: yrre7 commentedIs this module still being supported? I am seeing others have the same issue here and also posted in other issue, but there's no resolution for this yet..

yrre7 CreditAttribution: yrre7 commentedIs there any workaround for this issue or update? How do you guys go around this issue?
peterpoe CreditAttribution: peterpoe commentedSetting this as duplicate of #226001: Reset controlled fields to default values if untriggered .
There is a patch for this issue there.

yrre7 CreditAttribution: yrre7 commentedHi, it looks like the patch only applies to drupal 6 version of this module. Do you have the patch for drupal 5?
Thanks,
