Hello, I copied my Drupal 6.8 website to a second provider where the website will run under a new URL (XXX.de -> XXX.net) after some little troubles with the SQL (error 1044) wich are now fixed the while thing works.

The only thing that does not work are the images. They are still present and correctly linked but they just do not display anymore. Even in the user folders I can see the files, but when I click on them I get no preview in the ICME file browser.

I tried uploading the images again through the ICME browser but they still do not show.

What is wrong? Where did I make an error?

Grateful for any advice. Paul.

I am closing this threat since that seems to be a bug with the Drupal core system and not with IMCE.

Hi, I am new to Drupal, and I have encountered the same problem described by the post above. What is the solution? Is it a Drupal core issue?

Okay, sorry for posting. I figured it out.

For anyone else who has a similar problem, my webhost (XO Communications / CNC Host / Concentric?) has funny requirements for the .htaccess file. I followed their very specific instructions for the .htaccess file in the htdocs folder, but I missed the .htaccess file in the sites/default/files folder (where my images were located). Once I cleared all the information from the .htaccess file in sites/default/files, it worked.

Hello meera,

Did you delete the .htaccess file or you deleted all the files contained the the folder where .htaccess resides?
