I have been doing some research and have compiled a database of information that some people would pay for in order to access. I would like to use Drupal's taxonomy system to organize my information. The site would have to be secure, so that the database is only accessable to paid subscribers. Visitors to the site would perhaps view a different homepage that tries to convince them to join. Are there any modules for this? I would probably be using worldpay as the payment provider. I know that there is the ecommerce module, but does that support worldpay? Does ecommerce provide the functionality that I am looking for with regard to the main content only be viewable by a specific group of users?

Would appreciate any help that is offered and thanks very much if you can answer any of my questions.

There are many ways to get a different front page.

One of the simplest is to just use an index.html file in your drupal directory so Apache picks that up before index.php (assuming you have apache configured that way).

As for ecommerce supporting worldpay, http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=drupal+ecommerce+worldpay
