About NEDA

The Network of European Drupal Associations (NEDA) is a collaborative initiative that brings together national and regional Drupal associations from across Europe. Our mission is to strengthen the Drupal ecosystem on the continent by fostering communication, collaboration, and shared advocacy among European Drupal communities.

Our Vision

We envision a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable European Drupal landscape where national associations work together to support local communities, contribute to the global Drupal project, and advocate for open source technologies in public and private sectors.

What We Do

NEDA serves as a platform for:

  • Knowledge sharing: Exchanging best practices on community building, governance, event organization, and funding.

  • Joint advocacy: Representing European interests in conversations with the Drupal Association and global partners.

  • Collaborative projects: Coordinating initiatives that benefit multiple countries, such as shared tooling, multilingual outreach, and EU-level engagement.

  • Community support: Helping new or emerging associations establish themselves and connect with the wider Drupal network.

NEDA is composed of representatives from recognized Drupal associations and groups across Europe. Each member brings deep local insight and a commitment to mutual support. Our network includes both formal organizations and grassroots communities, working together with transparency and trust.
