The #description element for button and submit form elements is ignored by FormAPI. I think using #description for these elements would be handy for helping to explain to the user what the consequences of clicking on a particular button will be, but I suppose there may be good reasons for it being ignored as it is now. But if not, could we see support for this in D7's FormAPI, please?

sunWould also make sense to me, if #description (or #title ?) would end up as
title="Click to ..."
.However, I'm not sure whether browser are displaying the (otherwise universal/global) title attribute for form buttons.
Anything else, e.g., outputting a #description below the button or similar, is insane and won't fix for me.

sunThough, OTOH, #attributes][title should already allow to set a title attribute, the regular way. Won't fix?
