MS SQL Bad row offset

I am getting the error message:

warning: MS SQL: Bad row offset in C:\PHP\pear\DB\mssql.php on line 169.

This is a new installation and as far as I know, everything is configured properly. Anyone got any ideas?

Do the developers and whatnot of Drupal even read these posts? It seems that if there may be something wrong with a vanilla install of the drupal software on a win2k box with MSSQL, they'd wanna know about it...

yes, most developers read these forums. it takes time to chase down bug reports like these. it isn't clear without some testing whether this is drupal problem or somewhere in PEAR, PHP, MSSQL, etc. There can be many culprits.
