Dear all Drupal Themes Developer

It's real case:
the most important is not all costumer is Blogger who want freedom design proposed
the most important is 80% are commercial web costumer who want buy clean of 80% header for placed Ad
the most important is that ad make our company keep a life & floweriest

1.Democrat costumer:
Our costumer said:
Please REMOVE your primary link, secondary link & search button from header region because I want buy 80% area of "clean header" to place our company ad!! it meant 20% area for your logo

The best idea for Garland themes and all themes are "please" placed primary link, secondary link, breadcum, & search button between header & Content region, keep header region just paced for our logos & Ad of costumer

2. Extreme costumer
Our costumer said:
If you would not remove primary link and all from header. it's ok but i will buy your 100 % the top of header and your logo placed on 2nd header. if not i will go to other company

Best regard
Roso

You are free to customize the themes however you like. All themes on this site are GPL. Commercial clients generally want custom themes, not something that can be found on thousands of other sites. These themes are meant as a start or for use on personal sites where hiring a designer is not an option.

Most of my themes include a 100% width leaderboard region for placement of a large banner ad - this is trivial to add to most other themes also.

Two starter themes likely to be used for commercial application are Zen and Genesis - both include the $header region embedded in the header where you can place any ad you want. Simply move the site name, slogan and search somewhere else or disable them or make room by making them small. Genesis has a 100% width leaderboard region at the very top of the page and this would be a 1 minute task to add to Zen.

Neither themes place the primary or secondary links in the header, but rather below the header. Many other themes I have downloaded and studied do this also.

Your assertion that 90% of themes lack commercial application is beside the point, since most companies would require a custom theme in which anything desired can be achieved.

I completely agree with you mate
some of these themes make no senses at all. Themers if you really want to help people , instead of putting so much energy on some of these non sense region layout, focus on what people want and are familiar, do it first then add other stuff if you want .

simplify first, put the basic first then go wild if you want
