Not strictly Drupal, but may be interesting to those into the social networking side of things, the World Summit on Free Information Infrastructures (http://www.wsfii.org) is happening in London this weekend.

Wireless networks, open source free mapping systems, open currencies and all sorts of other social geekery going down. The conversations I've been having with the people who have been arriving in the last few days have been great. It's going to be a pretty amazing event.

The website says that the event is "Sold Out" but, thats not exactly true. We can only allow 200 people into the building at one time, and we have had 200 registrations, but, they wont all be around at once so if you are interested, come down to Limehouse in East London to check it out. (Some kind of webcast may get off the ground in time for those not based in London)
