Hello.
Is there a way to combine several fields into one, and include that one on the DESCRIPTION-part if the iCal-file?
I have a speaker-field, a departmtment-field and a node:body-field that I would like to have in the DESCRIPTION.

This would be a great feature request. It seems like a logical and useful addition. I just have to think about how to create a UI to do it. You have to have a way to indicate which fields to include and how to connect them together (new lines, commas, or whatever), and maybe an option to prefix each one with a label. And you have to shoehorn all that into the little views settings form.

If anyone like this idea, I'd be glad to look at patches.

I could imagine the possibility of having some template-file. As an option, one could choose template-file, and then the output is taken from some file, eg view-name.ical.description.tpl.php , and that file could be in my theme directory, and in that file I have something like

(in some pseudo-code)

"Location: $CCK_location__rendered
Speaker: $CCK_speaker__rendered
$node->body
"

The same could be used for Location and Title.

Sorry to dig up an old request but the function mentioned in the original post here is precisely what I'm looking for. Is this possible?
