this patch does not apply cleanly on release 1.10

could someone please let me know if this is still required?

@joseph.olstad, yes, this patch is needed. which patch are you trying to apply?
#2 works for me with 1.10
#3 is only needed if negate option was applied, which I believe is a nice addition.

Disable views caching works for me.

Disabling views cache not the greatest option, try the latest release instead
