I have installed this module, both the dev version and the latest stable version and do not see the slideshow view type. I have the JQuery update module installed as well as the latest version of views. running Drupal 6.4. Nothing shows up.

aaron CreditAttribution: aaron commentedYou need to click on the 'Style' link when creating the view; it will show up in the radio list (Grid/List/Slideshow/Table/Unformatted). Select Slideshow, then you'll have all the slideshow options available.
If that still isn't the case, let me know.

Dave.Ingram CreditAttribution: Dave.Ingram commentedThat did the trick. I think I got confused between the documentation for D5 and D6. Once I figure out the module a little more fully I'd be happy to have a go at adding to the documentation a little if you'd like. Let me know.

aaron CreditAttribution: aaron commentedYeah, I forgot about documentation. I'll get something up later this week, or link to whatever you come up with if you're able.
Thanks!

akahn CreditAttribution: akahn commentedHi aaron,
I started on what could become the new documentation page for Views Slideshow 6.x-1.x. I've attached it here; hopefully this doesn't overlap with what you've been working on.

aaron CreditAttribution: aaron commentedThanks, akahn! Posted that on the project page. It should be really helpful for people.

akahn CreditAttribution: akahn commentedNo problem. I think it would be helpful if all of the settings were briefly defined, since I don't think they are necessarily clear to new users.
