Apparently I need to be confirmed so that I can create releases on a project?

I currently work at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and have some history on GitHub. I've added a few of the PNNL Drupal Team folks as maintainers on the Pacifica project on drupal.org where we plan to contribute the work we are doing internally, please contact them as well.
