In this example you will learn how to add custom content to a Drupal site.

After custom content types have been defined, content of those types can be created. The process of creating custom content is similar between the different types, though the specific fields and data to be entered vary between them.

Here is the general process to add content of a Press Release type presumed to have been previously defined:

  • Select Create content
  • Select Press Release
  • Fill in the form with appropriate data for each of the fields. Fields marked with an asterisk are required fields and must be filled in. Those without an asterisk can be left blank. For example:
    • Title: Test Press Release
    • City: Test City
    • Body: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet,
  • Click the Submit button
  • You should now see your post of custom content
