how to Hide it from Anyonomous users?

JohnAlbinOn the admin/build/block page, click the "configure" link next to the block you want to hide for anon users. You'll see some options there to limit what roles are allowed to see the block.

One one site the secondary links only appear to the logged in (authenticated) user. So, the guest (anonymous) cannot see the secondary links.
In another site this does not work and the secondary links are always visible. Both site seem to have the same set-up - though I am trying to check this in all depth now a 2nd time around.
The only difference is that they are on different host servers (different providers).
In fact the secondary links on both sites configured to be visible to anyone (admin/build/block ). So, where is the little box to be checked or unchecked??
