hi, i want to insert background (color or image) that has width of 100% to a block that has a width of 1000px. this is common styling nowadays. what i have to do now is to edit block.html.twig to insert a class that wrap block class.

i believe its a good idea that block class module can add the ability to add class that wrap a block class

Wonderful request, much needed.
However, this could easily be done through #prefix on the block

You need add one more outer div *

//div content

Thanks

Hi @rodmarasi, can you please tell in brief what you are up to. Maybe a screenshot will be helpful.

Since this is starting to be quite old, without any reply or related requests from other users, for several years, we could maybe consider this was addressed in a different issue (?!).

If this request is still current, a new ticket should be created, for more recent versions of the module and Drupal core.

Marking issue as Closed (outdated), for now.
