This module does not seem to be compatible with the TinyMCE editor, for example

tags are shown as text after editing and the original text does not show in the edit box. Can this be fixed?

You need to manually copy the code to edit box,

it can not automatically inserted into the edit box.

When I change something with the editor, it looks like this:

-- original --

Test abc

-- changing to --

New test abc

-- after edit --

< p >New test abc< /p >

The < p > tag shows as text - I didn't even type them!

It does not support html, use only plain text.

This should be possible in 8.x-5.x now that the image description is a regular field.
